I had a lovely stay at the hotel this time. The rooms were very small, but they had everything required, and I appreciated the wonderful traditional aesthetic. The western bathroom facilities were a plus point with a great price-value balance.

The hotel is in a prime location in Asakusa, within minutes of Senso-ji Temple and surrounded by numerous excellent dining options. The rooms, though slightly dated, are still cozy and well-kept, albeit a bit tired. The service is top-notch with helpful and English-speaking staff, especially accommodating with luggage arrangements. The dining experience offers a personalized touch with delicious changing breakfast options. Overall, a great value for exploring old Tokyo and enjoying the hospitality of the staff, but some room for improvement in the room upkeep and facilities.

The staff is friendly and the dining options are good, but the room temperature can be a bit inconsistent during cleaning hours. Highly recommend enjoying the baths on the top floor with breathtaking views.

The hotel offers a beautiful Japanese-style room with tatami floor and sliding doors, but my stay was marred by the tiny size of the room, presence of mosquitos, erratic air conditioning, and uncomfortable bed. However, the room was simple, clean, and came with its own private bathroom. The steam bath was unfortunately under maintenance during my visit.

Rooms
6.0
The room was tiny and had some shortcomings like mosquitos and an uncomfortable bed, but it was simple and clean with traditional tatami mats and amenities like a kettle and green tea provided. The lack of real windows made the room feel a bit stuffy at times.
